- 1 week before the exam date, I took 1 week-off to have a concentrated study. 8:30am - 6:00pm daily at my mommy's home (as my lovely 23-months baby prefer me to study her books and play her toys instead of mine!) This is very important as our busy work do not allow us to have a good time to study and concentrate on the PMP materials
- 4 months before the exam date, I applied for the PMP examination. My life change at that time as I have a very clear target ahead. I took for 2 additional training sessions conducted by PMI HK Chapter at June and July to see the gap for my study. This is very important to set the target as my experience describe later will tell you why.
- 1 year before the exam date, I took a training session from the Technix-Pro which I considered this is a 雞精 lesson.
- 2 year before the exam date, I took a certificate of PMP from SCOPE which start my PMP study.
- 3 year before the exam date, my boss suggest me to think about my career path and PMP is one of those he recommended. My work require me to handle a lot of projects so I picked this one as my milestone.
In fact, I was thinking of sitting for the examination after my 1st class PMP at year 2005, but as my 1st baby come to the world. I need to postpone it. At year 2006, I took another classroom training with a viewing to sit for an examination after that. However, there is a major change in my work life that I do not have any time to concentrate my study and thus not taking yet. Finally, I think I should not make any execuse again. I push myself to corner by applying it and pay the examination fee. This is something pushing me to study hard and tackle any barrier against me.
